This was a challenging project which involved the electrical install, coordination and logistics for multiple store locations. The installation included rollouts of Vertical Farms, Robotic Self-Serve Food Systems and Smart Carts. All of which are just hitting the market in the grocery industry.
This new sustainable initiative provides consumers with farm-fresh produce directly from “In-Store Farms.” One of the primary advantages of this farming technique is that it drastically reduces carbon emissions associated with the transportation of goods, while also providing fresh produce for consumers directly from grocery stores year round.

To reduce the challenges and inefficiencies of grocery store check outs, this new smart cart technology allows customers to purchase items directly from their cart, while skipping the checkout line entirely.
